Kash - RE: "Let the GAMES begin:AMD moves to 1-GHz on Monday" This was pretty much expected. Intel first said this month, then AMD said this month. Intel said Wednesday, AMD is now saying Monday (of course these dates are from "sources"). There is NO WAY Intel will wait until Wednesday now. The Wednesday date doesn't even make sense for a new processor. It may have come out to see the reaction. Monday, March 6, AMD and Intel will announce their 1GHz processors. The only race now is who gets the official announcement out earliest on Monday! Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if one or the other releases the press thing on Sunday!
