yes mark. add another $200 of losses and $200 of "possible" gain, for friday, into the $2000 in loss/poor execution. it could have been a $400 loss extra, but i hope they fix the double-execution ("anne" of costumer service told me to wait for monday). i made one wire transfer and will make more, until i am left with a zero balance. i feel bad, but this bad feeling is greatly demolished for the fact that i can help others avoid the same mistake. a little fact finding: i had etrade for over 4 years, and called them on average of once a year. in contrast, i had suretrade for less than a month, and contacted them at least 10 times.... have a great weekend, marty

Mark, With respect to executions and response time, you may find that a direct access platform could better suit your needs. Direct access has several advantages over a browser based system, not the least of which is speed. In addition, such a platform offers continuous control over your trade (no wondering about the confirmation "black hole") and eliminates the payment for order flow issue, which is a practice by which your order is sold to a market maker who then profits from the spread.
