PWeePaulie: Re: By the way - did I mention that Intel closed at $119 1/4 - another ALL TIME HIGH - and the TWENTIETH ALL TIME HIGH since you predicted AMD would make an ALL time high !! Comment: Enjoy it while you can Paulie...Seems, if Iïm reading the releases properly, that there is a new trio on the block...900MHz, 950MHz and 1 GHz...Looks like the bar has been raised once again by AMD, only this time out of reach of the PWeeIII...And just when it was looking like Intel could get a few 733ïs to the retail channel (not to mention all-in comparable systems costing $200 more than Athlon system) BAM, BAM, BAM...900MHz, 950MHz and 1GHz...Sounds like it might be the mortal blow to the worn and fatigued PWeeIII! Sweet spot is going to get to 800MHz real fast, Dresden coming on stream shortly...AMD sells as many Athlons as it can produce (and indicators are pointing to 12 million easily in Y2000) at 800 MHz and above...AMD y2000 minimum of $4.00, maybe even get to $7.00...Looks to me like the best is history for INTC and the best is yet to come for AMD...so Paulie, like I said enjoy your little ùnew highù statistics while they last...But if you want the string to continue, suggest you grab a bunch of AMD while you can because you are going to witness an AMD price explosion over the next 6 months as the institutional players correctly conclude that the microprocessor industry has been turned on its head with AMDïs release of the new champion Athlon, the first processor to reach 1 GHz hurdle...Ah well, some consolation for you...INTC will produce 5 x as many 600(?)MHz as AMD does 1 GHZ(?) Athlons...That should keep you proud of the achievements of a company 60 times the size of AMD...Paulie, Paulie, Paulie...you really do seem to enjoy exalting mediocrity! Do yourself a favour, Paulie...convert your INTC into AMD right now if you want to maximize your Y2000 ROI!
