All I have read from the "credible" press on the proposed x box from Intel and Microsoft assumes a streamlined PIII processor with a modified cache configuration, a superb graphics accelerator (of unknown origin) and a memory architecture with super bandwidth capabilities. No names mentioned or speculated, but with these two big guys involved it has to be good. Intel has been setting the stage for further Rambus involvement in their product lines for a month now. This would be perfect.
