Pricewatch bin splits for Cumines, as per 3/4/00:
--------
800 - 5 $
750 - 24 $$$$$
733 - 37 $$$$$$$
700 - 48 $$$$$$$$$$
667 -100 $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
600 - 71 $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
5xx - 37 $$$$$$$
500 - 35 $$$$$$$
--------

I think everything is clear. Assuming that the "propagator
down the channel" is a smooth monotonic function, the peak
is somewhere at 650MHz. Accounting for propagation
time delay, this distribution curve reflects pretty
much the Floppermine yield situation at fabs on
December-January timeframe, when "yield
and splits were great", as per our "reliable"
sources on AMD thread. Thanks :)

Notes: (a) I took my time and counted only 256k-Cumines.
(b) The "667" column is a total of 650 and 667 parts,
for clarity. (c) in the chart, 1$ = 5 Cumines.
