slacker, i'm not saying q management is evil. i'm saying all managements are human and investors ought to factor that in. i don't blindly believe anyone just b/c they say eps next q will be this or that. xlnx management made a living from overestimating the eps of the upcoming q - did it for about 2 years running. management's proclamation of flat eps this q isn't gospel - that's all i'm saying. i don't know that 40% of employees were laid off. that might be high. but a HUGE amount were and production was severely impacted. for each asic sold to qpe: 2.7 million phones x (price - cost) is the reduction for the q.
