Joan, it beats me then how they report such a low inflation. I think it has more to do with their weighting process were if prices for one product goes up then the product share of consumption goes down - e.g. lowering actual inflation(the oil issue as different mater all thogether by excluding it from the CPI).

Still I do not think that I consume less bread or milk etc. because the price went up or for the same reason rent a smaller apartment and neither do I buy more computers <GG>
