qpe had NOTHING to do with new product development and they lost 30-40% (+ or -) of their people. qcom lost some people too (probably what you are referring to), however, that isn't what i was talking about.

the thin phone doesn't take 1/4 of the people to produce. that is untrue. certain work functions might be reduce 3/4, but no the whole. perhaps your sources are telling you the truth but you don't understand what they are saying.

bottom line, asic sales will be way down to qpe/ky this q due to reduced production output required to reduce inventories that qcom apparently built up to pad earnings last q.
