"I wonder what Alpert is doing nowadays?"

This is way bigger than Alperts of the sleazy-journalism world. The word on the "street" is that the largest short (w/ 400k shares short) has already boxed his entire position below $70-80 range, and is therefore neutral. I think that most of the shorts with large short position are neutral now. To do it otherwise would be utterly stupid. I am sure that there are some retail shorts out there who are still short this issue, for the same reason stated above. However, they cannot afford to have Alperts of this world do their dirty work for them. Even if they were able to get the characters like Alperts to attempt the old tricks, it will not work. Osicom now has big and strong institutional investors and friends on its side.
