<Thank you for your interest in the new 800MHz processor! You can now order a Dimension? XPS B desktop with a Pentium© III processor at 800 MHz with NEW RDRAM memory, but estimated ship dates will exceed 30 days.>

dell.com

<If you don't want to wait for the new 800MHz processor, you can order a Dimension XPS B system with processor speeds of up to 733MHz.>

Thanks for the find. Elmer must be "satisfied" :)

Intel yields and splits must be really, really good,
for this flood of 800-MHz parts to continue through
March 2000 ;) :) :) PB, are you got promoted, or what?

Back from shopping at SAM's. The HP Pentium-III-600MHz
gets lonely squeezed between HP Athlon-700 on the top,
and HP Athlon-550 with K6-2-500 from the the bottom.
I am not sure if the P-III was really a Cumine.
Back storage shelves have 11 AMD machines (all HP)
versus 4 Intel based. So the retail really looks not
bad.
