No one is perfect, but if honesty is the test, and Michael raised it as that, Ralph Nader should be mentioned, and Senator Bob Kerry comes to mind, and there was Jimmy Carter. I haven't heard any allegations of corruption or dishonesty against Richard Gephart or Daniel Moynihan. On the Republican side, has anyone charged Alan Keyes with being corrupt?-- he's a bit crazy, maybe, but no liar, and not corrupt, as near as I can tell. And what about Senator Richard Lugar. He seems like a straight shooter. There must be others, the relativity of all this being kept in mind, but I have to leave the house now.
