I agree. The problem might be that these big dudes have been able to control the action for so long that they will get into some nasty fights amongst themselves about how to divide up the "new" action.

The big players are being forced to observe that the Internet is revolutionizing communication on this planet. At the point where they actually see that they cannot hope to stop it, they then have arguments about how to control it. This is big money we are talking about here. REAL big money.

Meanwhile, the Internet keeps getting more powerful, and the script ain't being written by the people that used to write it. At some point, the people that are trying to control what the Internet does will be forced to see that it is the most revolutionary change on the planet since the printing press...maybe since the wheel.

These brokerage firms are going to have to learn to be two steps ahead...like John Chambers...instead of one step behind. Otherwise they will be dogs barking at aircraft.
