Scared and Joe, I stated earlier that I don't use my Epson 750 for black & white (textual) documents.

I try to batch print photos and use up an entire ink cartridge over a relatively short period of time to prevent it from drying up. I figure if I can get 40 or so 4x6 prints per cartridge that each final print costs me about 50½ a piece including the glossy paper.

By and large I either e-mail photos to family or friends or send out invitations to come to my webhosted albums at www.photopoint.com (a free service). Also, I am very selective as to which photos actually attain "print" status as not every picture is print worthy.

If you figure that any given 24 exp. roll of 35mm film has only a handful of "keepers" the Epson system will likely pay for itself if you shoot film with any degree of regularity. If you shoot photos infrequently it is best to subscribe to a print service. There are new websites that pop up each day offering this service along with other perks such as webhosting.
