When I met with management they actually discussed the EK position and advised that not only has EK let this patent gather dust they are closer to expiration than you might think. My family was in the photographic processing business and I can tell you that EK is one of the slowest reacting companies I've ever seen. Digital imaging is another example of how they let Japan eat their lunch. If you want to know why EK will not be a threat just look at the disc camera, APS and the long term performance of this company and it's stock. These guys couldn't be leading edge if their lives depended on it. Sherwin, Steve and Sid are capable people and know how to run an IP company. Hold on tight because we're only in the 2nd inning of this game. I am committed to doubling my existing position on any weakness and look forward to a prosperous 2000 with PANL.
