<Why would he sell if he knew something good might be in the works?>

Food, rent, taxes, dire emergency, house, car, yacht could be any of a zillion reasons, good or bad.

tttm, <<144's are sometimes good?>> If I was an insider with stock and knew that news was about to be announced, I would file my 144 and sell some of my stock on the momentum from the announcement. Some of these shell insiders have been sitting on gobs of stock they received as payment for services in the penny range. While they may do well waiting for later, they have enough stock to do well soon and finally collect a pay day by selling some stock. This is all just speculation. I'll need to see more evidence for "144s are good" before I accept such a idea as true.

tttm,

As Richard explained, it is the 144 filing that might indicate something good is up stock-price wise. If insiders are filing, they could very well be positioning themselves for the opportunity to sell into a runup.

..... The actual selling, of course, isn't really a good thing ....

Hope that helps,
Chris
