Hi V,

Boy are you right. Looks to me like ELON is a much better CC play than SMCR. I will write them on Monday. As you say, "when they are giving away money, I'll get in that line." It's a great country. Speaking of country, yes I have been to New England in the fall. Absolutely outrageous. Spent the last week of Sept. and first week of October in New Hampshire (Franconia Notch area), Vermont and Maine several years ago. I told my wife I'd move to New Hampshire if it wasn't for the long, cold winters. Country side really beautiful and clean, no billboards, liter etc. You may or may not know that Highlands N.C. is supposedly the highest incorporated city east of the Miszippi-@4100 feet. Sister town of Cashiers also very nice. Both on a high, long plateau. Not sure about airports, but you might check out either Hendersonville or Franklin-both valley towns nearby. The area is only about a 2 hour drive from ATL. Many folks from Florida are retiring there to get away from the heat, congestion and crime down here. Also 4 seasons there W/O northern winters. Cool summers and very good fall colors rated second in the country behind New England. Ozark mtns., 3rd, glacier National Park Montana rated 4th for fall color.

Anyway, again I want to say thanks for opening my eyes to CC writing. Amassing all this doe for long term is great, I guess it looks good on the monthly statement, but it does no darn good for today. Why not get some benefit today? Hell, I'm 45 which I consider to still be young (mentally still 18-scary), I hear about people at 42 havin heart attacks all the time. It's amazing to me to see all the guys in their 40s with a long scar on their chest from bypass surgery. Again, you may be helping more people than you know. Lurkers like me who have suddenly come up out of the water.

Thanks V,
Pinhi

P.S. Thanks for the seat on the porch. I think I'm really gonna like it here! Hopefully I can throw my 2 cents in every now and then.
