I have serious doubts that ASPs can be maintained, let alone increased.

What if it really is the case, but Intel sells fewer chips? THat's a possibility.

One problem is that Intel is delivering companies like Dell, that get discount, but is not delivering to companies who pay the list price.

Re ASP's he may be right only if the corporate market comes back strongly now that Y2K is behind us.
