<On Jan. 2, 1999 AMD was at $29 and Intel was at a SPLIT ADJUSTED $68 !!!>

Your brain to mouth disconnect acting up again.
Here is the math:
1 year = 12 months
1 year back from now = March 4, 1999

Now try to compare the charts between AMD and Intel since then.

<75% > 43%>

Good that you still understand basic Math!
Now go back and check how you get to 800 > 850 by your math. (since you insist Intel is the MHz leader)

<You're telling me?

I own Altera, Qualcomm, MRVC, Xilinx and a host of others - and I have owned them for years !!!>

Good for you. Now, can you synchronize your mouth with your brain? They seem to have gone far out of sync since Intel lost the MHz lead.
