<<one added comment, I know I have said this before but it really hit me Friday, there is no one nor any entity including the Houses or the Fed that or in a position to do a damn thing about this market and I think it scares the hell out of them, it becomes more and more apparent with every passing day.>>

V: Thanks for your comments....I tend to agree with them...It sure is frustrating for the Houses when they are forced to make money 'the old fashioned way' <VBG>...

BTW, take a look at the new issue of BusinessWeek (the March 13th issue)...There is an interesting article on pg. 126....Julian Robertson used to run one of the largest Hedge Funds...His Tiger Fund is racking up 'Cruel Losses that are putting the Funds' Future in Jeopardy'....The Founder and leader seems to be more stubborn than Warren Buffet....He is sticking with his stock picks in the laggard U.S. industrial and financial sectors..."At the end of 1999, just 9% of Tiger's equity positions consisted of technology stocks..." HELLO....Would this guy wake up.!!...Last year Tiger had a 19% decline in performance and trailed the S & P 500 index by a staggering 40% points....Tiger's assets have shriveled from $22.5 Billion in August of 1998 to just over $6 Billion in recent days...Hmmmm....The trend is clear...Those that ignore the tech sector pay a BIG price...You either embrace the digital economy or your competitors will...In the time period that Tiger has lost over 2/3 of its assets (and many of its wealthy customers) we know that the top ranked Janus Funds have thrived. They take BIG positions in tech stocks and let them ride. Janus is not the top performing Fund Family by accident...Investors (from all income brackets) are more demanding and the best returns are available in the technology and Biotechnology sectors. That fact has been proven. It's amazing some of these large investment managers are still in business...:-)

Scott
