Elroy - What do you make of the VRTA announcement - a couple of posters have confused it with an old VRTA product - Helium. THIS IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT VRTA product - Virata's Helium communications processor and networking software only provides higher layer communications functionality while ADI's chipset, which is based on Aware's technology, provides the physical layer. TODAY VRTA PRODUCTS ARE BERYLIUM AND BORON - which COMBINE the physical and higher layer functions into one chip -- so we need someone that really understands this technology to tell us if the market is right to be killing AWRE - cause at this point we are all guessing.
