This stock market reminds me of George Orwell's book, 1984. The fundamental that matters most to this market is that Greenspan does not overshoot by raising rates and cause a recession. Don't you get it yet?

LG, fundamentals ultimately do count. As to your remarks regarding QCOM, the stock price is so reflective of this market silliness. Would agree that 1999 highs are now support and violation of the $120 range will drop the stock to the $90 range. After spending over 2 years in the $5 to $7 range, QCOM started really taking off after it's technology was accepted about a year ago, The explosive rally since Nov 1, 1999 is representative of the typical collusion in this market. QCOM reached a market cap of over $140 billion from a mere $3 billion in less than a year. BTW, QCOM technology is a direct result of the SINGARS project developed in the early mid 80'thies wen the Cold War was still a very actual topic. Being involved in the project, I did not realized the importance of the technological breakthrough at that time, just remembered the complexity. Another company who tried to commercialize this technology was the now defunct GEOTECH. Interestingly TBOMK, Soros backed both companies who have/had substantial R&D work done in Israel. BWDIK Haim
