Another Yogiism comes to mind: "Nobody goes there any more, it's too crowded".

An allegory:

Once there was a fine little Mexican restaurant. As word got out about the quality of the food served there, it developed a loyal following. As it grew in popularity, it started to get overcrowded. Even worse, some of the patrons began to complain that the food wasn't really authentic because they couldn't order nachos or tacos, and the owner didn't put baskets of chips on the table. The owner did not want these kinds of customers and tried every method of insult and rudeness to get rid of them. However, they just kept coming back for more and complaining even louder. This eventually began to drive away the owner's original loyal customers, and in despair he finally sold the business. It was eventually replaced by a Taco Bell where the disgruntled customers were able fill up on all the cheap junk food they could eat.
