The plotting software in gnuplot 3.7, which is freeware available at:

geocities.com

I use the windows pc version.

Yahoo! finance uses a version of gnuplot that they modified in-house. I can give you a sample plot file which will produce a .gif file from data. It will save you some time trying to figure things out.
