Perhaps, we'll have a sitcom called "The B2B Hillbillies". Now, the first thing you know, ole' Jed's a billionaire. The kin' folk said "Jed, Hey, move away from there." Said "Californie's the place you oughta be." And they loaded up the SUV and moved to Los Altos. Hills, that is. B2B. Movie Stars. Swimming pools. $ 8 a trade...

Les, after reading the article from Washington Post I read the BIO of Gilder. My conclusion - Gilder is the quasi essential promoter. Boy can he trow around names for meaning less encounters.

this one I liked best, as he may be the only one doing it <G>
At Harvard,he studied under Henry Kissinger and helped found
Advance, a journal of political thought, which he edited
and helped to re-establish in Washington, DC after his
graduation in 1962. During this period he co-authored
(with Bruce Chapman) a political history, The Party
That Lost Its Head.......

In the 1970s, as an independent researcher and writer,
Mr. Gilder began an excursion into the causes of
poverty, which resulted in his books Men and Marriage

But who can argue with results?? I can only assume that by now he got filthy rich by running ahead of his recomandation and then bailing out.
