Yes,

been to three nurseries and cannot make up my mind about which rhododendrons to buy. Before I start lifting those five gallon babies I want to make sure. Generally I am not stymied, I usually know exactly what I want before I leave home. I thought while I was staring at the SOB's what an idiot I must look like. Must have stared for 20 minutes without moving, guy came up and said can I help you and scared the S out of me. That is generally my Angels way of saying don't do it. Got my skinny ass back in truck and came home. Going to clean out fountains now. Beautiful day in A town.

Join the TXN party, Jill. I have been in the Jan 01 40's since November 1998. I also bought the Jan 02 110's on 1/10/00. One of the great things about TXN is that their DSP market is growing at a huge rate, and their DLP technology is not even priced into the stock. Upgrades last week brought the price target up to 240-250.

Profesora Jillybeana

That was so nice of you to give that "Can't Buy Covered Calls" lecture. See you on your thread for more in depth options instruction. A woman always teaches best in her own classroom.

A failure to read Michael C. Thomsett's Getting Started in Options (John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 1997) before putting your money on the line is akin to traveling around a foreign land without a map.

Lawrence G. McMillan's McMillan on Options (John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 1996) is much better, but its depth is not essential for initial moves into the options market.

This is fairly tricky stuff. But anyone with a reasonable math mind and a high school education can understand premiums and deltas.

I hope you have a splendid Sunday. The weather's great here in Chicago, cowgirl.

Your cyber beano,
John
