Maybe not but the company I work at just issued a company wide reminder (one of many in recent past) to check all the software on you pc for out-of-date licenses and apply for renewal etc. So I assume MSFT will still do well.

The DOJ doesn't have them in the courts for the past two years because they are losing money.

So we have established they are not first in most products and they are certainly not collecting all of their license fees but still the largest market cap without factoring in WINDOWS2000! How can I not invest in that?
