Dan,

I second your motion for the stronger wording. PC components are VERY VERY touchy about this stuff. About a month ago I had a chain reaction disaster that started with plugging a HDD into a running machine. So easy to do, so potentially devastating.

Thanks for the win2k tips. Is your BH6 version 1.1 or an older one? You're probably right, though, that it's me and I need to try smaller partitions or NTFS (although I don't want to use that file system). I was really excited about getting it installed -- now I at least have new hope.
