This might be a place to start.How many people do we each know who are full time traders? I know one who happens to be my son who lives in the USA,and does a hell of a lot better than I do,because he understands T/A. Duff

I dont anyone who trades fulltime - well one - But then again I am a recluse - I have a bunch of friends who maybe make a trade a week. I really think the number is max 5,000 in Canada and I doubt it is that high - fulltime is someone I qualify as deriving 75% or more of their income from this and is at it 40 weeks a year 4 days a week,

Increasing volume: I think most of the increasing volume is the yanks seeing how well the Canadian techs are doing and pouring money into Canada via the new vehicles like Greenline that heretofore was not available. I know a lot of my friends have started buying heavily. I am glad to see this happen because it will help out my friends to the north by sharing the wealth. The canadian companies will get stronger because now they can raise money and that added strength will work its way all of the way through the Canadian economy and make life better for everyone up there. I hope this new trend continues and Canada prospers because of it. Not to mention the fact that I may finally get to go to Bora Bora <g>.
