JJ - I think, if you read closely, that IW's future is not necessarily tied to WAP at all - their strategy purposely includes diversity - so the death of WAP would not (by far) be the death of Infowave. Really take a look at Infowave for the Net, and the Infowave information... I realize you haven't had time, yet, and there's a mass of info (no pun intended!) to digest.

Re: QCOMM... Infowave has announced that they will be coming out with CDMA product this year...however, read this...(!!!)...
