Its no secrete....Read the press releases..... Todate all fuel cell vehicles use hydrogen but everyone knows this will not be practical for commercialization. A hydrogen source can be extracted from many fuels including methanol. The fuel source must be clean and methanol is because it is a gas to liquid technology. Ballard has acquired technology that allows methanol to be fed directly into a fuel cell without a processor.SAVE BIG BUCKS. Ballard and Methanex have various agreements to work together to develop a fuel source. Ballard is working on other gas to liquid technology projects that can supply fuel to fuel cells.
