As a journalist, Beth Kwon is pond scum.

She writes an obvious hatchet job on A@P, but where, OH WHERE, is her criticism of Jon Markman for pumping up a piece of crap like SCON?

It's clear she didn't even consider A@P's side of the story, and just regurgitated whatever people who have an agenda against A@P offered to her.

It will be a great day when TSCM files chapter 11 and goes to zero.

Wolff, The quality of your writing puts Ms. Kwon's pathetic attempt to shame. Of course, her own words should bring shame to her and TheStreet.com. It's a one sided hatchet job with an obvious agenda.
Thanks again for the great job.
Fast Eddie

Wonder why Gary B.Smith doesn't put a chart of TSCM on his column. Would the comment be:
A) "TSCM downtrend seems to be very persistent, but as it continues to widen, perhaps there's hope. Just not yet though."
B) "Buying now is not my forte, but if you're game the risk is certainly low. So fire away, but if TSCM drops below the $11 support level, I'd be gone fast."
C) "I hate to be a pessimist, but based on this chart, $7 looks more likely than $20."
D) "About the only redeeming factor is that TSCM has reached the multiyear bottom. But it sure doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon."

Four analysts per MG are predicting a EPS loss of (0.55) for the 03/00 quarter. This is worse than Dec99 loss of (0.36) and Sep99 loss of (0.29). Not one predicting profitability in 2001 either.

Market cap still $327M
Book Value is $4.81.
Per the 2/10 PR
"Company Had $119 Million in Cash On Hand as of December 31, 1999"
"Net revenues for the fourth quarter of 1999 totaled $5.1 million."
"Company reported a net loss of $9.1 million"
Hmmmm. Enough money to last until 2004 unless they do something silly.
