>>One disadvantage would be that in a dual boot environment, the NTFS volume is not accessible by Win95/98. This has never been a issue for me.<<

That's the main reason. Can I access win98 from NTFS (to bring my files over?)

Is there some reason why you don't like NTFS that I am missing?

No, and now I'm curious. Maybe I'll give it a try. I'll let you know how I make out. Thanks for the info on NTFS.

Unless you have a dentists' or mechanics' mirror you won't be able to check. The version is on the bottom ISA slot, on the side nearest the bottom of the board. (How convenient, huh?) Thanks for the thought, though... I'll know pretty soon whether the smaller partition helps.

Dan, another way to find version of BH6 MoBo.

The version label is on bottom left ISA slot. Maybe a small mirror
will help you find it out. There is another way without opening the chassis,

If the current BIOS version is one of the following, it's BH6 v1.0x, fl->fn->gy->hn->jj->kg->kj->lh->ln->mv

If the following, it's BH6 v1.1, kk->lg->nk

Slip an AOL CD (everyone has one of these <g>), beneath and with a small mirror maybe read version.

Regards, /jw

ps: mine is VER 1.0A, hn, (on Boot Up Screen)
I flashed to NV (nevada) is the lastest for ver 1.0A .
