Bad Service Lately

Last week, during the first two hours of each trading day, WebBroker trades took a LONG time to confirm -- sometimes 20 or 30 minutes, sometimes longer. Phone-calls to the broker took a LONG to get through to a live person.

I really hope things are better this week. I'm not sure I can go on trading with Waterhouse if conditions don't improve.

I finally got an answer for my MIA market sell order. It was on a Nasdaq stock -- apparently the market makers have up to 72 hours to report confirmation, at which time Waterhouse will post the result.

So it wasn't Waterhouse's fault, but they could do a better job explaining this situation through Webbroken. Anything would be better than trying to get through to their Customer Disservice.

I am strongly considering moving to American Express.
