Re Fry's: If AMD 600s were MIA, what AMD systems were in stock and how did Athlon systems (on price and features) compare to the PIIIs? In particular, was Fry's selling 850 Athlons?

Scumbria, <I visited Fry's this morning and noticed an interesting trend. Many of the 600 MHz Athlon systems had been replaced by PIII systems.>

I noticed the exact same thing yesterday evening at my local Fry's. I saw a lot of Pentium III systems at 600 MHz.
