Kemble -
In big companies, front-line managers manage tasks, their managers manage processes - but at the top, it's all about picking people. That seems to be what you are doing, and if it works for you, great. I hope your dreams come true.

Hi Kemble! Re: what you said to TTOSBT, "I'm only a few light years behind anyhow... :o) Hey, take some few hundred DELL announcements...sprinkle in his words...Well, what have we then?...Some folks could call it investing...I call it dreaming... :o) But, then Rudedog is right...The more I know the less I know...If ya know what I mean...DELL has so many opportunities it's tough to keep up with them...My only course of reasoning for why I continue to accumulate dreams comes from my trust ...Yeah, I have confidence...A great deal of confidence in my dreams...Time has taught me a valuable lesson...He's certainly up to something better than the next competitor...Don't bet against him...I have an entire bookcase here that tells me not to..."

Kemble, the older I get, the more I realize how little I actually know and how much I have to learn. Or worse, I realize the things I have known and ignored and the stupid mistakes I have made. I believe that life is all a matter of faith! Keep taking those notes and keep the faith. I got this off Briefing.com. tonight. Like many Sunday nights, I am sleepless in Dallas. Maybe I should cut-out caffeine! :)Leigh

General Commentary:
Sounding very redundant these days, as the bullish outlook for techs remains intact... Friday's favorable jobs data only helped the situation as it eased interest rate fears a bit, not that many momentum traders cared much about rate outlook, but for many old-line investors it was good news nonetheless... Rally still being driven by sector's much-better-than market long-term growth prospects and by an unsatiable demand for tech stocks... Nothing on the near-term horizon threatens those to erode those building blocks so it should be more of the same.

Interestingly, the large-cap tech leaders have lagged behind so far this year, with Microsoft (MSFT), Dell (DELL), IBM (IBM), Lucent (LU), America Online (AOL), MCI/Worldcom (WCOM), Amazon (AMZN), Qualcomm (QCOM) and Yahoo! (YHOO) all down on the year... You think enthusiasm for tech stocks is high now, just wait until these stocks kick into gear... When do we expect that to happen? Well, many of these stocks started to show signs of life last week... Don't be surprised to see them build on those gains in the days ahead.
