I'm only saying what I saw at Fry's. You can certainly come up with your own conclusions.

I'm well aware that AMD is killing off the lower-speed Athlons in an attempt to move the MHz sweet spot. Certainly it's not a bad idea, if the reports are true and Athlon is yielding at very high MHz.

But like I said before, it's the volumes that counts, not necessarily the MHz (or GHz). And like I said before, the real money will be coming from Fab 30 in Dresden whenever that starts actual production.
