Chad, you got it. remember also the value of the incoming stock to the RRSP is at yesterday's close, so you have a few hours to on the day of a zoomed stock that is in your cash account. Read the 1% penalty rules , as someone mentioned is now 1% of any non CA stock over the 30% "limit"
This little trading tactic can make your RRSP balloon in no time- tax free !
