I am waiting for 1GHz before I upgrade again.

Wait! I see that could be today! And already I can choose from either a Compaq or Gateway system.

But how does the price compare with the Intel 1GHz systems I wonder? Perhaps you can help - I can't find any listed anywhere.

They are priced cheaply because they are slower than Intel's 750 MHz Coppermine:


What do you mean? 850 MHz is more than 750 MHz.

AMD is delivering 1,000 MHz, while Intel is having problems delivering 800 MHz. 750 MHz won't cut it anymore.
