Even Safire gets it wrong from time to time. And there's no credibility in denying that the media has a liberal bias. W is smart enough to know that Robertson and Falwell are bit players. They can't make or break him. BTW, Justice Clarence Thomas has done a great job during his tenure on the Court. No one really believes that the President ever nominates the best man for the job do they Danny boy? Its all politics, right? You win some (Thomas) and you lose some (Souter). JLA
