You would not have to wait for $50 to write another call. When the stock got to around between 70 and 75 the call you wrote for $10 would probably worth about a buck. Buy back write another and you are correct, you can always roll up.

The whole point is there are millions of people with the stock you wrote what ever it would be that are NOT covered, now who was better off. That is what people forget, if you are in the market anyway and the market tanks so will their stocks and they will not be covered. also if we are using our stock as a vehicle, yes sometimes you write for more sometimes for less. The point is yu do it every month if you want income. The whole point is CASH FLOW and Income.
