Rande, I will have to check on just where LU has manufacturing facilities, but Warren is not one of them. Warren (and Murray Hill, the headquarters) house administrative and sales people, not manufacturing. If memory serves me correctly, though, there's a big manufacturing site in Andover, MA, which is not far from the NH location of Lightchip. I will ask around.

Rande - there was some talk on the LPTHA yahoo thread a while back about LPTHA/ETEK working together on a project......so there may be a JDSU connection.

Huge day today on so may issues. Starting to take profits for first time since mid-January. It has been stressful, but I have sold little until now. Totally confirmed bull from late January until now. Anyone who bothers to read my posts knows that I was unsure from Mid-December to late January. Today I started getting itchy fingers again. Not sure what will happen after 5000, but I am getting dizzy at these heights. Today is just unbelievable. For me, it is a blow-off rally, so I think it is time to sell some, although some of my most profitable are still untouchables. Still haven't sold a share of LPTHA since 1/4. Might finally take a little bit of profit there towards end of week. Holding NATS, ONSSW, FBCE, CICI, LU with both hands.

BTW thanks to Rande's strategy, I was able to play WIND quite well on the after-news, after-earnings sell-off. Haven't touched core position, mostly bought in the low-teens. Had added trading positions at 30 and 33. Sold the last position of 1/3 before earnings at 62 1/2. Held the other 1/3 trading position, hoping for earnings to confirm price. Earnings did not so I dumped that 1/3 at 51. Picked it up again on the oversold dip to 45 and sold off again on bounce to 55. Was able to turn a bad move in a major holding into a gift. Without Rande's help, I never would have played this so well. Just love that hybrid strategy.
