It seems obvious that if Intel stuck to the mp business almost exclusively that its revenue growth (with falling prices) and EPS would increase at about 8 per cent a year. INTC's performance depends almost exclusively on the doubling of P/E ratio over the past two years. Without new rapidly growing businesses, such as Barrett is exploring (after Grove deneglected segment zero and the network) Intel is dead meat, and the stock would collapse.
