*AV* -- someone else asked me about XICO and I did some research for them. I decided to pass on it only because I thought I had some other opportunities that were more attractive. I was wrong since XICO moved up nicely and probably outperformed a few of the ones we decided to go with. We favored going after the communications chips like TQNT, VTSS, ANAD, RFMD , etal for great returns.

Now that XICO is pulling back, I will be dusting off the research and may rotate it into the universe. The other reason I hesistated was due to the fact we are dealing with a commosity type product with ever shrinking margins and increasing competition relative to the wireless communications chips we are heavily favored. However, these stocks may have peaked for the time being and now some of the commodity players like MU are doing well.

Even though the are considered as commodity chips by some, EEPROMS have decent margins and a growing market to boot.
