Thread, I learned of Fonix just recently. The company's products sound interesting, but this seems like the type of software for which competitors might spring up quickly. Can anyone give me any guidance about whether Fonix really has something unusual? Does the company have any important patents? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jim

Yes, I did mean NSCT...but now I see one site gave me an incorrect chart of it's history...indicating that it had been under $.50 last summer...and so now I think it may not be the one I was thinking of...I'm confused. still I'd like to find a good estimation of the value of their products...appearances are promising. TNRG...yikes...I almost threw a pittance that way a year ago just as I watched it rise from .04 on up....I offered one post on that thread...a reference to the difficulty of applying the Chinese written language to a keyboard- and what a HUGE problem that is for common internet use in that country. Of course, I know there is more to TNRG that's well beyond whether or not a typical Chinaman will be able to efficiently use the internet without learning english first. But I thought it was a worthy concern at the time. Dan B
