Jerry, for what it's worth, I also bought a mess of near-term out of the money LU call options on February 25, when the stock was at about $57 1/2 the day after it broke from the low $50's. I based my decision to buy on technical analysis, the MACD crossover buy signal, etc. I also bought more on March 1, after the news broke, and those are up 80% now. The conventional wisdom now is that it was the fundamentals (news of spin-off) that now have us at $73 5/8. But without the T.A., I never would have gotten in in the first place. I'm up over $50 grand profits on $13,000 total investment, and still have some riding. That's a home run for me. And I don't give a flying flock if Mizzou thinks it was blind luck based on reading tea leaves. I don't care if it was luck. The money is what matters! Thank you, Technical Analysis.

OJ,

You're welcome for the update. One shouldn't argue with success, so my hat's off to you on a great trade, and if TA got you there, then power to ya!

I personally combine both TA and Fundamentals. If the FA of a company is great, then TA tells me when and where to get in for max profit. I agree with your entry-point: LU below 60 was a total steal!

Best Wishes,

Sam
