Why would they do that, given that splits unlock so much value? And by the way, what do all of these dashes in front of the price increases today mean? Some sort of error in the data feed?

With the narrowing of the market, the number of shocked people will multiply after each flavor of the week gone sour. The collective flicking of the switch will occur one morning when enough of the jaded go to the exits.
