Finally!!! Thanks Scrapps for the post. Vaporized by vaporware. They are not even selling it to anyone and the list of people they got to comment on their chips is laughable. There is definitely competition here. It is not possible to own 100% marketshare in todays day and age, but this is not anywhere close to being competition that sets us back. They are simply going to pick up the small fry. The companies that would buy these chips from Verata still have to design their products around them. Intel has been working on their products for several months already and the other guys like ADI and Lucent have been selling their products longer than Verata has been developing these chips. (Gotta love that comment from Aware.) Those that bought today during the selling will be rewarded. Maybe not in a day or 2, but in a month or 2 for sure. If we did not see some of this competition hitting, I would be worried that the market for DSL was dead. This just reaffirms the fact that this is a red hot area and there is more demand than supply right now. Perry
