Sounds like MOT pays, then bills IRID which can't pay, so MOT then adds to its claim as an unsecured creditor of the estate. The $9.2MM sounds like the monthly run rate to keep the system up. It is pretty clear MOT wants to end this thing quick and go on down the road.

I hope our guys can come up with some creative "trade-in" plan to snag Iridium subscribers. How's about trade-in your Iridium phone for a G* phone free if you use x minutes over the next 12 months, with a sliding scale purchase on your credit card if you don't hit the minimum. This is an opportunity where Bernie needs to find some co-op marketing funds, as our squeamish SP's aren't likely to come up with anything on their own. The existing 50-65K Iridium subscribers represent a core constituency for the service.
