<<<<Sales in the region grew 57 percent 1999 over the previous year, thanks in part to the fast-growing Chinese market.
That was slightly faster than Europe and North America, which respectively reported a growth rate of 52 percent and 53 percent.>>>
I'm lost as to what the 52% and 53% figures refer to.
Analysts were predicting 21 to 29% growth in computer sales for 1999. With Dell doing maybe twice as good. Hovever, I don't believe Dell sales in Europe were up by 52% so they are not Dell figures.
Sig Confused ????????????????????

Fez,
Hi!!
RE: Dell Expects Up to 60% of Asia Pac Sales via Internet in 2000

Hey...Caught this last night...Exciting to follow the path DELL has taken in this market....Michael has told everyone that one of the four major goals for the year 2000 is global expansion...Will certainly be interesting following this...especially since they always "underestimate and then overachieve"...

Best, Kemble
