really impossible to say how it will trade after the execution. Sometimes you'll get a dormant period after the execution. Many times though you'll see a ramp up into the split, a rest, and then a resumption of the move up. The overriding factor is earnings that are due out in mid-April. Again, no sure thing that besting earnings means appreciation in stock price.

An excellent education source is www.rightline.net. I have followed their work for over a year and a half and their analysis is first rate. The other source I have started reading just lately is Open Fund's www.metamarkets.com

Lastly, what timeframe are you investing in? If you are longer term, then the volatility is less of a concern. But if you are a more short term investor then trailing stops might help lock in the major arc of the move. If the bottom falls out (qcom) your stop will get triggered.
